What an F10 display tells you
An F10 display means the oven sensed heat above the normal level. The alert is built in by Frigidaire so the appliance stays protected and operation stays safe. In the owner support guide the entry is “Thermal Runaway”; the fault code sheet lists “Runaway Temperature.”
Owner checklist for ranges and wall ovens
Turn the oven off; wait until it has cooled down before using it once more.
To reset, disconnect the plug, count 30 seconds, then reconnect.
Cannot reach the plug? Cycle the breaker off and on instead, remembering that everything sharing that circuit resets as well.
Should F10 stay, get in touch with support.
Stone-baked pizza ovens
On these models the Pizza Shield sitting in the wrong rack slot can raise F10. Rack position 7 is the place for the oven rack as well as the Pizza Shield on most of them, though a few differ; the Use and Care Guide has the last word. After correcting it, reset the unit and run the Stone-Baked Pizza preheat from the start.
If it keeps happening
A technician starts with the RTD sensor probe, per the fault code sheet, replacing it if needed. When overheating continues once power is back, the electronic oven control comes under suspicion.

F2: oven temperature over the limit, on older controls
Call (415) 319-6371 when F10 keeps returning on an oven in the Bay Area, and look through Frigidaire range repair first. Tell us the model number, what you tried and whether the oven was in a pizza mode.
Model compatibility: Frigidaire reuses codes across series and model years, so F10 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
