Error codeE2
ApplianceWasher
What E2 says
A top loading Frigidaire washer shows E2 when the water drains too slowly or does not drain at all. Frigidaire describes the code for top loading models only.
Five checks in Frigidaire’s order
Look at the fuse or circuit breaker.
Measure the standpipe height. Where the washer was installed or moved in the last 30 days, the installer is the one to contact.
Close the lid and press Start/Pause. As a safety measure the washer will not spin while the lid is up.
Take any kink out of the drain hose.
Clear a clogged drain hose.
When E2 does not go away
Inside the first 30 days after installation, go back to the installer. After that, contact service to schedule a visit.
With the five checks done and E2 still showing, book Frigidaire washer repair for San Francisco and the Bay Area at (415) 319-6371. List the checks you completed and the model number.
Model compatibility: Frigidaire reuses codes across series and model years, so E2 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
