Error code30/70
ApplianceCooktop
One fault, two numbers
Both 30 and 70 describe the same thing: the induction housing assembly is receiving AC input voltage above what it should. The entry is in service data sheet 318200282 Rev B for the earlier 30-inch induction cooktop with a ceramic glass top.
What the sheet asks a technician to do
At the filter circuit board, where the main supply enters, measure house voltage between terminals X1 and X2 and between X4 and X5, comparing it with the 240 volts the sheet specifies.
Examine the jumper wires linking X1 to X2 and X4 to X5.
Terminal X6 is the chassis ground.
If voltage is correct, a new filter circuit board is the remedy.
It involves live supply connections, so it stays with a technician.

Codes 35 and 75 use the same checks for voltage that is too low.
Phone (415) 319-6371 and give the code, the model number, and anything odd you noticed about power in the house. We serve San Francisco and the surrounding Bay Area; see Frigidaire cooktop repair.
Model compatibility: Frigidaire reuses codes across series and model years, so 30/70 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
Plain language
What this code means
Codes 30 and 70 both mean AC input voltage is too high at the induction housing assembly.
Important safety warning. Do not attempt repairs involving electrical components, gas, water lines, refrigerant or sealed systems. Unplug the appliance if it is safe to reach the outlet, and leave internal diagnostics to a qualified technician.
