Error codeE68

The message
Two faults share E68: the heater leaks current to ground, or a fuse has opened. FAFW3577KA, FAFS4272LR and EWFLS70JRR front loaders carry this wording on their sheets.
If E68 persists on a Frigidaire washer in San Francisco or the Bay Area, call (415) 319-6371. Have the exact code, the model number and a summary of your earlier steps; Frigidaire washer repair gives details.
Model compatibility: Frigidaire reuses codes across series and model years, so E68 may mean something different on another appliance or generation. Confirm this against your model’s documentation and record your full model number before acting.
